An innovative solution for chronic tympanic membrane perforations.
ClearDrum is the first mechanically and acoustically optimised artificial tympanic membrane. It allows for easier surgery, addressing a wide range of tympanic membrane perforations while preventing common issues like retraction, adhesion, and the need for revision surgery.
The transparency of the material enables ongoing monitoring of healing and resolution of middle ear conditions by routine otoscopy.
The design has been guided and developed through multiple evaluations with national and international ENT surgeons.
